Revoplan

The problem
Numerous open top trailers and trucks drive in a loaded condition and with an open rolling tarpaulin. One reason for this is the time consuming and exhausting, manual rolling and unrolling of the tarpaulin. Moreover the driver needs to climb onto the platform on the front wall at a height of three metres. If cereals, corn or gravel fall down on the street, this may result in situations such as black ice.

The rolling tarpaulin may be rolled and unrolled at the push of a button
With REVOPLAN – the electric rolling tarpaulin system – the rolling tarpaulin may in the case of dumpers, dump trucks with protective cover or lifting cylinder in front of it, as well as in the case of open-top trailers such as trailers with a push floor, be opened promptly and comfortably at the push of a button. This system mainly distinguishes itself through a low dead weight – it is cost-efficient and may be retrofitted at any time.

Advantages
Safety
The driver does no longer need to climb onto the platform on the front wall - in this way the risk of falling is prevented. This is particularly dangerous in winter when the tread is frozen.

Economic efficiency
Prompt rolling and unrolling of the tarpaulin is possible. Sensitive freight such as quarry sand which must not become wet for processing purposes may rapidly be covered with REVOPLAN.

Comfort
No exhausting cranking required; with REVOPLAN the tarpaulin roof may be opened and closed at the bush of a button.

Retrofitting
REVOPLAN may be retrofitted into any vehicle which is equipped with a rolling tarpaulin.

Helps to make savings
Increased permissible load (40 kilos) per ride because on account of the mounting of REVOPLAN the platform on the front wall is no longer absolutely necessary.
